That's just dumb. This man will not achieve much threatening the briber with arrest by the bribed.
The bribed is the beneficiary.

BBI will solve it

This feature has done well to shock us out of slumber. I was at a government institution this AM and all I can say is laxity will kill us.

Those were my exact thoughts.

Our media and journalists do not seem to understand the sensitivity of security matters more so now.

I also took the story with some kidogo salt. Its next to impossible to have an idle bag outside Hilton for over 2 hours without a thief getting interested.

Sema editing and showing us what they want us to see.

We clearly have a long long way to go. A conspicuous, black bag abandoned variously at JKIA, Central Police, Kencom bus stop, Route 46 mathree, KNH Casualty, outside Hilton and Uchumi Supermarket, Aga Khan walk branch. And in all cases, nobody seems bothered. In the Hilton case, even after several calls, the cops never showed up instead opting to lie about it. Iko chida kubwa!!

Jana was picking someone from JKIA and at that roadblock the cop there opted to ask me to buy him soda instead of searching the car,he never asked me to open the boot or check inside the car,so sad...

So wakili, did you buy him a soda or smiled and drove off? If you dint take his number and report it then you are as useless as him. Even if we dont expect any action to be taken, we should all be vigilant

Do we care about Kenya the way we care about our families? Vile mtu amesema hapo juu, shida ni sisi and it doesn't help much if you add the Ole Lenku's of this world!!!!

Yes, the Kenyan media is usually alarmist. However, there is nothing new/creative displayed in this NTV feature. The moves are obvious to any serious security apparatus. If we have to shame our security forces to act BEFORE the fact so be it. We are possibly at the edge of a major planned attack going by all security reports, these pictures are the reality we all know exists. It's time to act and act differently.
