You are right........and the hatred stems from his Nyeri declaration.

When he was at war with MO1 his tribesmen supported him "kwa hali na mali".His pain was their pain his joy their joy.

That Nyeri declaration therefore came as a shocker.

Some will never forgive him.

Not really, he vied for Gatanga MP seat 3 times and failed and that was in 90's so hatred for him has not started now. But I respect him for forgiving his wife after Moi ate her..

Yaani that woman agreed to be eaten by a man who was crashing her husband from all corners? Who does that? Pray Pray

Washiku how old are you? Seem you don't know the real MO1.
It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt...

I think its MO1 to be forgiven not the wife. The wife may have been under duress thus not able to exercise good judgement. Some thinhs are hard and given that they were at war some of the war tactics for men are to eat your woman.

Was the wife a headmistress?

smile smile smile

No she was not a head mistress. But you right, Mo1 Ate nearly all headmistresses in central, including your very own back in the day smile smile
