This moment: Chris Hani gets assassinated. Mandela and the ANC are very angry. The world holds its breath. The ANC hardliners are crying war. Negotiations between ANC and NP are suspended. ANC negotiator Cyril Ramaphosa cannot even reach Mandela. Then Mandela, with eyes burning with anger, surprises the world by declaring; We have come too far to throw it away. For the children of SA, it behoves us to look forward and not back!

Carnival mood at the Memorial Service.

Is it possible to have a solemn 'Celebration of Life' for Tata?

Interesting situation when some dignitary rises to read a speech full of "in this time of Anguish as we mourn" to the background sound of whistling and brief camera shots of dancing and flag waving.

Shame on you Pray Sad

Hio kelele singing and whistling from the crowds ??????

Frequent appeals for dignified mourning!

Someone will be booed off stage at this rate.

Whotis? Ama hii ndio celebration of life ?

This is a party... the speeches about mourning and anguish are at odds with the mood there.

Maybe this is how they mourn because when his passing on announced, there was 'celebration in the streets'.
I am happy
