In such projects / events one can make very quick bucks. In the euphoria of the event or planning , costs are inflated , fake receipts produced , bogus companies quickly registered . This is the sort of money people use to build flats/ apartments after 5 Years You wonder how the guy worked so hard. It is party time and money has to be made, how does one explain sitting allowance of 31 million honestly ......

Exactly. The Goverment has to spend money. The priority is what is in question here.

Meanwhile Equity Bank made 6.2B in the last six months. Assuming that they will make 12B by year end they will be taxed about 3.6B.
Can we then assume that only Equity Bank will Finance the Bash and move on?. Your Tax will not be touched on this ocassion.

People will spend anyway and somebody will benefit while another will not.

Strategize on how to benefit and life goes on.

he he he I guess hiyo tu ni ya Equity to finance...LOl. Me is thinking how to join the organizers ndio nikule na wao. I realise the best strategy since they wont listen to us when we complain...is to join tupewe a tender to supply hata kama ni candles, grass, anything...

Thats the spirit, strategize and be in the mix.
Itherwise complaining will not help you. It will only help the other side of the political class to gain mirage.

Otherwise, if you genuinely think that you can do someting differently, tell us about it come next general Election and we shall listen to you.
