Its sad when funerals are turned into popularity and heckling contests, all the time forgetting one of the sole purpose of attending one is to console the families.

I think people should toa goggles. It does not matter who it is -Kamwana or the former Premier and their cronies speaking politics in funerals is just abhorent! It should be condemned by all,it is just not right. There will be so many forums where people can ask for votes and stamp their supremmacy, but not at funerals.

agreed, totally against funerals being turned into circus theaters, it doesn't matter the political affiliation the involved parties belong to. Funerals should be forums where the bereaved families are consoled and treated in a respectful manner.

its regretful when our leaders stoop to such low levels as to turn final sending off ceremonies into political muscle flexing contests, it is embarrassing when it happens - but our political leadership do not identify with embarrassment, in their minds they perceive it as stardom.

It is not utopian reasoning,it just goes to sensitivity and common decency- i guess huge amounts of restraint;not to see a mamamoth crowd and just think votes is needed! I guess that is one measure of a leader. It does not matter ni unaegema upande gani wa siasa.

Toa goggles @ MC
