No one cares...

What do you expect when the people Matiba was fighting are now firmly ensconced in power? Walker and Machozi were KANU diehards (YK 92), Baks was telling us about the difficulties of felling a mugumo with a razor Etcetra

people tend to forget that everyone was in Kanu! and if Akina Matiba got their way in Kanu we would have never had 'multipartism' but for better or for worse we have it. Akina matiba paid the price. For better or for worse. it's just the way it is.

Same shirt, same position? Those who interacted with Kenyatta family in 90's remember they aligned themselves with DP not KANU, until Mtukufu went for one of their own around 1997. Only Ngengi Muigai went for Matiba.

Uncle Dan and his bunch of thugs should be in prison!! Period. The kind of terror they visited on Kenyans is unimaginable!!! From secret [and not so secret] torture chambers to Ngong forest session which normally ended in a hail of bullets to blatant thuggery, pre-planned 'accidents' etc. and none of them ever saw the inside of a prison!! Remember the bull of auckland and his murderous ways??

And that is why we still have grand corruption from both the goverment side and the opposition and still have politicians acting like demi gods!! They know how we treat thuggish politicians. They know they will get away with it! They always do! I insist, uncle Dan and his bunch of thugs should be at Kamiti maximum. Those found guilty of murder should have been hang by now! That would have taught politians not to mess with Kenyans and their property. I assure you Kenya would be a different place. A better place. Everyone would think twice before grabbing, killing, being corrupt etc. because they know how it ends. Unfortunately in Kenya political expediency tramps everything else!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

One of unfortunate things about Kenya is that among the true heroes of the second liberation. Yaani the people who put their neck on the line to fight Moi for democracy, none ever got to govern. Instead we are governed by the very same people who have always supported Moi.

The real heroes of the 2nd liberation were aside from Matiba, Oginga Odinga, Muliro, Shikuku, Orengo, Raila, Rubia, Koigi..............

These people quite literally put their necks on the line at a time when dissidents used to disappear mysteriously and were never seen again, some languished in detention for years, the lucky ones escaped to Norway or wherever.

A healthy Matiba is one of the best presidents Kenya ever had.
