Lolest! wrote:The earlier we face the fact that we need to do away with the senate, the better. All along Kenyans have thought that it is superior to the NA but now reality is sinking in. Kioni tried to warn us but we didnt listen. The civil society and the Odm wing of cord was fast to label such as enemies of reforms. Granted, this constitution is about devolution and it must be protected. This can easily be done by a meeting of governors when that need arises and during budget time... @Lolest; I am not sure how old you are to have seen, or how much history of Kenya you know. But I would advice that you read the history of Kenya between 1963 and 1966. Kindly get to know how the executive became all too powerful till we later got a dictator in Moi years later. Then advocate for scrapping of senate "Peace is our profession, War is our business" ...Unknown

I invite you to read the constitution particularly Articles 95 & 96. You will then see the senate cannot save you from dictatorship. The national assembly can. "we told you so" will not be legal tender when things head south - grow up! So what do people who voted for the other candidates do?PK,Martha,Dida,Kiyapi and Madvd are as silent as they come btw its only OAR who speaks out on this issues and if am not wrong he urged the Prez not to assent to the bill until proper dialogue was done if things go south we will all definetly suffer no doubt some will be hit harder than others but it will be clear as daylight whose actions caused it...No sane person would be happy to sleep hungry or suffer economically...everyone wants to prosper and thrive, live in a better house, drive a better car,get excellent medical attention and have his/her kids get the best education...when you are the leader its your duty to make all this happen, the choices you make either break or make a prosperous nation... I agree 100% its the glee in the statements of CORDashians I am pissed off by! All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

Kwanza, who told you I elected Jubilee? However if I were to be asked to choose between the two Evils Jubilee and CORD right now? I would actually vote Jubilee but that is a different matter all together. My rebuke to you and your ilk is based on your narrow mindedness. The willingness to cheer a government to fall so that you can feel vindicated! Mwafrika nywele ngumu - nini mbaya na wewe? BOSS utalia na hao masikini wengine - it will be a while before price hikes stop me and my clan from partaking of herbivore flesh at will (perhaps 10000% hikes on the same would probably do it coz ninaishi rongai) - I am crying for the rest of the people who while cheering government downfall will be the single most hit group of individuals. Proving who you voted for in the last election is simply a moving target!! so stop acting holier than thou...hiyo pia ni ujinga tu!!! ABK. When Jubilee collapses, all are affected...the idea here is that those who voted for jubilee the belief of numerous promises being fulfilled...that isn't happening!and seeing the way things are going, bado sioni...in a different thread, you can clearly see that the CORD people you are referring to should focus their energies on other things, even when the economy heads south, they'd have things to cling to....your story on 1000% hikes don't matter at all..hiyo ni yako na watu wenu...assumption, that those you assume are cheering on the downfall will suffer most is equally wrong...that's a statement you may find hard to qualify...!!
