@ Rankaz, thanks for your tips here. I had my FTA installed last month and I'm able to get the CNN,Bloomberg and the EuroNews channels.
I also bought the JSC Irdeto Sports card and it's joyful viewing, only that there is no Formula 1 in that package. My challenge is that the picture cracks or the signal disappears whenever there's strong wind or slight rain.
Also, i can't catch the Al Jazeera sport +1,+2,+3,+4 & +5. (I'm able to access AJ+6 to +10 and all the HD channels) .
My dish is 130cm
My decoder is the Astrovox VSR9000 Premier HD
I'm on Mombasa Road, near City Cabanas area.
I would be grateful if you could offer me some advice on how to eliminate the cracks in picture and loss of signal.

Glad you appreciate. A few queries: 1. What LNB type are you using? EUROSTAR, Universal Digital KU Band LNBF2. What cable type? NEOSTAR RG63. What is the distance, in meters, from the LNB to your decoder? About the20-25 metres

Still, you can use the information available from dishpointer.com to fine tune your set up. This you can attempt by checking on elevation, azimuth and lnb skew in an attempt to maximize your signal reception. You may use either the Dubai One tp or the CNN tp to guide you in this. There have been previous reports of compatibility issues between the JSC sports card and Astrovox as well as SkyBox F3 decoders but I do not think this could be the problem in your case, or else you would be unable to open any of the channels. Indeed, I'm using both the Astrovox and SkyBox F3 and I'm able to watch all the other AJ Sports channels. Are you able to get the CNN/Bloomberg tp (11977v) and the EuroNews tp (12015v)? no, those two tps proved hard to get - I got a flicker of green on (11977v) but could not get it at a stable point, guess i will need a bigger dish than my 90cm Comrades, i want to nail any TP on this bird, which frequency is easy to receive, i've checked Satstar.net and i am hopeful. My LNB has been out in the Sun for 4 years, hope its still good enough for the duty.

For EPL, you'll have to get an AlJazeera Sports card (yearly subscription costs about the same as what you pay for supersport on dstv) coupled to a decoder of your choice such as Strong SRT 4922, SRT 4950, Skybox F3, etc. Currently I do not know of anyone in Nakuru who I can refer you to. Kindly check on the link below and see if there's someone near you who may assist. @Caramba, JSC Sports rebranded to BEIN SPORTS with extra channels added on 12245V, 12475V & 11449H, namely 7HD, 8HD, 9HD, 10Hd, 11HD,12HD, 13HD, 14HD, 15HD, and SD channels 11 and 12. I know someone selling Openbox S10 (ksh5,500) and Skybox F4S (ksh7000).
These are capable of receiving all FTA satellite channels and are easily configurable.

Those two are actually like twin brothers and I think they both run on the same basic software with a few subtle differences.
