@admin, ...blanket censorship is a weary business. You mostly derelict your moderation duties, only responding when issues become red hot having gone miles over the line - so your solution is to shut down everything wholesale.

But hey, its your site, you can stomp on it all you want. I realized two things during the imposed political fast ..
#1 - The time I spent browsing and interacting reduced from hours per day to less than 10 minutes. There is always good information and knowledge, but there is no entertainment.
#2 - Content began to get stale.
That being said, you have proven that the community can live without politics. I welcome things that help me kick addictions - browsing here obsessively is one of them so by all means, let the Political section die permanently.
