Presiding Judge Kuniko Ozaki however pressed the Prosecutor to make written submissions to the court detailing how the case against Uhuru has been affected by the dropping of the charges against Muthaura.

“The timing of dropping case against Muthaura needs further explanation as prosecution was aware of the facts since November last year.”

Uhuru's case will probably be taken back to the pre-trial chamber.
