He is just realistic and lucky. He makes obvious mistakes sometimes, do not overrate him just coz of these election results. Uhuruto went ahead without Kalonzo because they already knew the tyranny of numbers was on their favor.

You evidently haven't read Mutahi Ngunyi!!! You should Google him and read his past articles - going years back. With hindsight [given that for the issues he was articulating/predicting came to pass] you will see just what a political genius he is.

If you are basing your argument on the last couple of articles, then you know less than 1% about the guy.

@maich, I do not dispute that Ngunyi is good in his stuff. But the Tyranny of Numbers is overhyped and had errors in it. The thing is his opinions are very much valued. So much that the day he did tyranny citizen tv spent 30min of news time discussing it. Raila talked about it many times and now everyone thinks it was the first correct prediction!

the critics are the ones who hyped it up. Especially the way Raila used to talk about it, you would think the article was written by uhuru and Ruto.

I stopped reading his articles when I saw that most of them were reactionary. A writer who does not provoke thought at that leve need to hit t highway.

why are we comparing Makau with Ngunyi? Ngunyi wasn't even writing in any newspaper yet when he came up with Tyranny of Numbers, Kenya took time to analyse his analysis.

Makau is just a very opinionated felllow.

Very much agree. People are different and see things differently. It is very hard to hold a conversation with people who see things from one angle. I wonder what value these kinds of arguments are adding to anybody's life. Two things
1. Never argue with a fool - they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
2. It ain't over till the fat lady sings.

To me, Wheat and Chaf has been separated. One is a big loser who will regret time wasted writing useless articles which apparently, Kenyans never took serious, while the other will walk the Street head high. Talk of losers and winners.

How can he regret when writing is his work and probably paid for it? He expressed his opinion and everybody has the freedom to do so. Looks like you are so happy when Mutahi Ngunyi brands you a tribalist? Are you one?
