You got only one vote against 14million other voters.
Prepare for any eventuality. wacha stress mob.

You @BGL,...don't even have that one vote d'oh! ..may be the logic of that choice is not having to worry about things like the ICC and UHURUTO defying it. Fence sitting has its advantages.

Its true i do not have a voters card by choice... democracy is just populism and i do not subscribe to that school of thought.
But this time around hakuna mkate nusu the winner takes it all. Whether ni uhuru or raila kenya itaendelea.

So I have been saying ....Assuming Jubilee win:
1) UHURUTO will refuse to show at the Hague, the ICC will issue a warrant of arrest, UHURUTO will disregard the warrant,..high pitched diplomatic noises and snobbery will follow, diplomats from the US and UK will be sent to meet PORK,...to no fruition, talk of sanctions will start, an ultimatum and schedule of sanction implementation follows,..somebody will move to impeach, PORK will buy off parliament and or senate by drowning the constitution and paying MPs Kshs 3.5 million a month.

We are going to be royally screwed IMHO.
2) To play devil's advocate,....Or who knows, they attend the hearing, and be holed up there for weeks on end, somebody moves for removal of PORK for physical incapacity to handle business by way of absence. UHURUTO see this, and to mitigate, see #1 above.

Now bring on the stones Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

You are naive to think that the ICC can postpone a case (on what legal grounds?) or send it back to Kenya's judiciary(on what legal grounds?). Is there a precedent for this? No. Doing this would set a precedent that is indefensible morally and also from a point of law ...ICC is keen not to be seen as a joke. If they did this they lose the authority to prosecute anyone. It would be suicide for the ICC. Kenya took the case to ICC, the ICC did not independently decide to prosecute it, with members of parliament waxing lyrically on camera "Lets not be vague, lets go to the Hague".
So ruling out these 2 possibilities, you would have us trust on the benevolence of these 2 to attend court and stick with the process to the end, and not expect turmoil back home regarding day to day governance, of which one of the consequences of said turmoil is likely to be an attempted removal ..?
You have buried your head deep in the sand. It will not be business as usual. We don't need this.

@Quicksand

Once you understand the ICC Operations, you can conclude who is being naive here.

This court is new... started operations in 2003 it is still developing its own processes currently. (referring to cases back to the countries where they were committed and postponing cases for the peace of a country are possible with ICC.

It has had major failures and 3 members of UN security council with Veto powers are not supporting it despite the fact that it was formed through UN.

ICC is yet to get support globally to have its decision enforced and so it needs support of the nations to continue being relevant. You can read much more in the article attached below about failures and successes of ICC. Issues of whether to apply sanctions to individuals and countries that do not cooperate with ICC are yet to be decided. In my opinion, the press in Kenya have over glorified ICC.

Just a thought, will the cases of the two run concurrently? if not, the suspects may rule the country in turns, each taking short stints. ........we are royally screwed to borrow a phrase.
