Corruption exists in every country, not just here - was it not the South Korean president who was jailed for abuse of office?

I think in Kenya corruption just reaches stupid, mind-blowing levels. Its one thing to skim off the top of a road contract, but at least make sure that road gets built! Don't just eat everything, and then let your cousin (or crony contractor) do the job on the cheap!

And don't have your hand in EVERY cookie jar, Biwott style. I think that guy had a 'f*** you, pay me' attitude to everything. Who cares about development, just give me my money!!

Corruption exists everywhere but in other countries people are held accountable. The former presidents of Korea and Brazil are staring jail time for corruption.

Hapa Kenya, all our presidents have been thieves and murderers and incompetents yet we worship them and defend them and name everything after them.

Not just presidents. Known thieves like waiguru are elected to high office. Reformers are rejected. Incompetents are elevated. Then we wonder why disasters like patel dam and Garrissa university happen.
