Not all. If the child is in the front seat but strapped in a car seat and the airbag is disabled then there is no problem with that.

Have you ever seen those tourist vans with sunroofs?
They normally do an average speed of 30km/h and you can see learned jungus dangling their kids up there to see Kibera slum.

Wow @Impunity. Thanks for that information. I had not known that any average mzungu tourist in Kenya is learned and they are the number 1 experts on vehicular safety issues.

What if we made a doll that laughs when the vehicle is static, remains silent within a specified range, and begins to cry after speed limit?

The doll is to be given to one passanger by the driver.

This will ensure that a moral relationship has been established and in case the driver over speeds, then the mother will just shout, 'Dereva mtoto analia!'

Then another will be included till popular pressure reminds the driver of his obligations.

I normally get annoyed when I see someone driving while TALKING ON PHONE. I once saw a serious accident caused by this.

Why can't you just pack off the road and talk...or better ignore the phone calls while driving and call these people later when you are not driving?

If I call you and you tell me you are on the road driving... I just disconnect.

Research also shows that there is no difference between someone driving while drunk and the one talking on phone.

Why disable the airbag when its for your safety and that of your passengers?

For the the child, check out these extension seats for the kids which Kenyans would rather drink away ksh 5000 on a weakend binge drinking than invest in them.

@Tebes, you only disable the front passenger airbag when the kid is seated there. When the kid is not seated there then you can enable it again. That's because airbags are dangerous for kids and in case of impact would most likely kill or seriously hurt them.
