'Rats' apologists should also move over there and enjoy the newly acquired 'freedom' and dine with the 'Libyan pple'. A hater doesnt want to hear Al Qadhafi was a nice chap. I have read many comments from all over Libya and they feel a big mistake has been made. If raira was just half as good!

Will this suffice ?

Quote:
Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said Friday that ousted Libyan leader Gaddafi was loved by his people and that the rebellion that toppled him was not a popular uprising.

"This wasn't a popular uprising," like in other north African countries "where the wind of freedom begins to blow," he told young supporters of his People of Freedom party gathered in Rome.

"Powerful men decided to give life to a new era by putting out Gaddafi," he said.

"This wasn't a popular uprising because Gaddafi was loved by his people, as I was able to see when I went to Libya."

Berlusconi sio mtu wa kuongea. First, Italy is a a member of NATO and secondly he needs to leave ushukani so that Italy may possibly get back on track.

I dont understand why anybody wuld support a dictator who funded other dictators not forgetting terrorism.

He trained the guy who is in charge Of MEND in Nigeria who has waged war with the government for years.

Charles Taylor was his apprentice not forgetting IDD AMIN... I hear he provided him with logistical support to escape Uganda after killing thousands.

The lockerbie bombing....seriously it doesnt matter what he provided to the libyans he was a monster whose deeds had catch up with him.

@Mtu biz

That is what I have been asking Kenyans who shouted 'good riddance', when Gaddafi was pronounced dead. I have discovered we have many educated Kenyans and Africans who are not learned.

@ Simonkabz

Don't give up on educating the ignorant. Hammer it into their heads until it enters ndani kabisa.

Zlitan, is Gaddafi's strong hold actually afew weeks ago men from that area attacked Tripoli and engaged NTC fighters in a gun battle that lasted for hrs b4 they were neutralized.

I was reading an article yesterday that painted a very clear picture of how Tripoli is divided into sectarian fiefdoms with militia controlling different neighborhoods.

This explains why NTC were asking NATO to continue with their operation to the end of the year while Qatar has offered its military personnel as back up.

In other developments the Warfalla tribe(gadafi ethnic group) is regrouping there are fears this war is far from over if NTC dont consolidate their authority.

Our livelihood as humans does not just revolve around procreating and being satisfied once the objective a full stomach is met.....it's more than that.If you don't enjoy freedom, then believe me you, you will be unsettled, sooner or later.

Funny how some kenyan who i meet seem to adore Gaddafi unlike his countrymen who've known him for 42yrs.They say that we are being brainwashed by western media, but when you ask them to tell their sources, they don't seem to have any.

After a supposed 'popular uprising', backed by months of military action by NATO, culminating in the killing of Gaddafi, the only reason NTC are asking NATO to stick around is fear.
A majority of the Libyan population was against this invasion.
