The irony.. This was such good news, now it spells dispair smile Headed back to pick late comers. How far down can it go?

Old news. Disregard. I can't (don't know how to) delete it so I might as well just edit.

To ride the growing popularity of bitcoin, one can also invest/trade in the blockchain technology behind altcoins which has a chance to be disruptive across so many different industries such as insurance, banking, equities etc.

Companies such as Microsoft, IBM, Goldman Sachs, Nasdaq, etc have started integrating blockchain technology.

Also, companies that manufactures memory chips/processors for miners e.g. AMD, Nvidia etc

The need for the technology behind is quite fascinating:

I'm curious as to how much NSE money, crypto-currency has taken up and if the effect can be felt?

The youth are getting computer survvy, are hungry for a quick buck and Btcoin is providing just that. Begining of the year Bitcoin was $900, as I type this its $6,000. x6!

Saw this on NTV last night. Can experts explain how one pays for dowry with bitcoins? Does the prospective groom give the girls' parents his wallet or how does that work?

Crypto currency are doing great. Litecoin has more than doubled within less than a week. Ethereum from 35K to 54k. BTC approaching $12,000 mark bitcoin cash from 100k to 170k. Ethereum classic 2100 to over 3000. BTC is the best ROI ever to engage with. Remember BTC and crypto currencies is not an investment but for money generating.

I cant believe i've been ignoring the crypto currencies all this time. I just kept hearing of them but ignored and didnt care to know how they work. Been researching about them this week and i really want to venture into them big time.
I find bitcoins to quite expensive at the moment and i cant find any other coins at localbitcoins. Where can one buy lite-coins in kenya?

Bitpesa would have been a good start but since Mucheru moved to GoK and the CBK press releases they are less aggressive. They would have been a perfect local exchange.

To use other global exchanges where you are able to buy and sell all altcoins you will need to use other services like Skrill, Neteller, etc to enable deposits (Most banks balk at the prospect of trading these virtual currencies and the exchanges are very limited in the ways in which they can receive deposits).

Mantain SECURE wallets for your coins.

Do not leave your coins in the exchanges as they are susceptible to collapse or flash crashes . . . read more on Mt. Gox, Moolah, BTC-e, Bitfinex, OKCoin

Last but most importantly research on each altcoin you want to trade in.

Hopefully this little Info will be helpful

Great story. Password Password Password!!!
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.
