Lasting peace has got to start from somewhere.

For me this fake peace and unity is a good starting point as it brings us it enables us to talk to one another.Then in that fake peace we can deliberate on ways for lasting peace.

I speak as a kikuyu settled in Rift Valley and a victim of PEV.

So many people were killed in areas such as Mathare and Kibera, surely someone has to be held responsible for that. when are we going to go after the so called "small fish" who killed innocent Kenyans....i'm sure Mutunga and his team are also ready to deal with the other individuals who were on the Waki list.

You are a kikuyu settled in Rift valley as matter of right coz your Paros or grandpas legitimately acquired land and settled there.Right!!!!
Why should you beg for peace in your own country,Why should you be at the mercy of others just because you want peace in the future.Is that not fallacy of mercy like"now lets be at peace because you messed me up last time but i have chosen to forgive and forget for the sake of future peace"
ICC with all attendant weaknesses,political interference and even bungling of the current case of kenya before them is meant to guarantee you that justice and peace if your local political leaders cant do it.
Be informed that Man(I included) has been proved to be destructive in nature ,vengeful,Implacable and the most dangerous living creature(Then the Hippo)-. hence need for some Big papa somewhere to warn you of consequences for your negative actions.

If ICC has waded into our local politics to become CORD hague branch as most here try to allude,let them go.If we can live in peace till kingdom come let them be.
For the record I have an Uncle who was evicted from Sondu and his shop looted,same do i have a multiplicity of relas and or family contacts who were attacked and evicted from various parts of kalenjin and Kikuyu Rift valley.

It's a bad idea to go that route

We get RAO,Jane wa Naivasha etc on the dock...and jail

Are we ready for the heat this will generate? Things are already tense coz of ICC. It will be worse. Witch hunting etc will be there.
