Brookeside does not have milk of its own and neither does Bidco have it's own maize, sunflower ,soya nor macadamia plantations. Boycotting products from this companies is, by extension, boycotting what Korir, Njuguna and Muthamia delivers to the processing plants. Now, the three farmers have more than milk. In their farms, they grow vegetables and other grains. If you do not want Korir's milk, Njuguna's milk, products from Muthamia's macadamia and soya beans, is it also not fair that he refuses to sell you his grains and vegetables?

Going with that logic, even if they all boycotted buying some products, the economy would still be fine. Why the bile on how poor people choose to spend their peanuts ? They have never mattered anyway.

The govt gave Mumias a loan of 1B while the sugar directorate is dishing away sugar import licenses to politically connected individuals. On the other hand, the coffee sector has had debt write-offs adding up to Kes 16B to date.

The Fisheries dept has cooked up some figures on Fish consumption and allowed imports from China. We discussed the same on another thread.
