1. Oparanya has refurbished Bukhungu, is building a hospital from scratch.

2. Mutua build a road chap chap and spinned this fete dry.He also installed solar powered boreholes and water pumps.

3. Kivutha Kibwana built a milk and fruit pulp factory

4. Ngilu planted ndengu

5. Ongwae built a stadium and painted Kisii level 5 hospital

6. Munya built a stadium and tarmaked a few Kilometers with probase.

7. Joho built uwanja wa mbuzi and Bomu stadium and painted CGPH and installed a few machines here and there.

8. Kingi has built a new hospital from ground up and tarmacked a few kilometers of dirt roads.

9. Baba Lupita has spoken a lot of kizungu mingi and can somehow be credited to universal healthcare policy

What have governors in CENTRAL PROVINCE done for their people? Can someone point out even a single culvert that has been installed in Central province by devolution money?. Even a boda boda shed? Hata artificial insemination hatujapea ngombe ya watu yetu?

I said it here that by 2030 central will be completely emasculated by other regions politically, demographically, economically, culturally etc. and some people nearly asked admin to suspend my account. Forget about a few oligarchs billionaires here and there that are time and again used as a reference to the economic might of "these people". Hiyo ni porojo na udaku tu.

Hata governor 020 with all her purported brilliance, kizungu mingi na catwalk has not built or initiated any significant development hapo. Hata hajatoa blueprint that can be collecting dust in some shelf somewhere? Mnataka wananchi wafanye nini jameni?

ni hayo tu kwa sasa

Total hogwash i tell you. Central province had always been against devolution for reasons known to themselves. The question is....Where have the billions disbursed in the last 6years gone to? Hata cattle dip hakuna? Hata ECD classes za matope onge?

My twin gafanas have done alright
Sonko grass is thriving. Something Man Kidesh was unable to hack in a whopping 5 years.
Lenku has built mingi mingi water pans and is trying with land use policy. He has also given special attention to dustbowl jewels in the crown: Kitengela and Ngong with the latter upgraded to municipality status.
And I have not heard of either one stealing, which in the final analysis is the bare minimum threshold of success for gafanaship in our beloved Kiinya.

Nyong'o tops in county service delivery, Sonko most improved

Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong'o is the best performing city county chief according to latest polls by research firm Trends and Insights for Africa (Tifa).
He was followed by Kiambu's Waititu, then Nairobi and Mombasa.
The poll shows that Sonko is the most improved governor in terms of performance driven by Street lighting and garbage collection.

I agree with this on Nyong'o. The city still looks great and clean, property prices are over the roof, security is top and businesses are making money. As for Sonko and Waititu, sijui. Taps in Nairobi are dry, traffic is only better because schools are closed...

Anyway, I still believe Nai needs a Sonko...

Doesn't make sense especially for a city that has an ever increasing number of vehicles. How do you ease the burden of someone who doesn't know he has a burden? Parking in town should be a luxury.

If it's not broken, why fix it?

SMH it should not only go up but also all vehicles going into the cbd should pay a congestion charge, How does reducing the fee help the city? another thing is retain it at the same rate but require that no car should be parked at the same spot for more than 2 hours, this works like clock work in many cities because no one wants to have to move their car every 2 hours with the risk of not finding another spot.

A Slovakia investor has signed an agreement with the Kiambu government to set up a fertiliser plant.

Governor Ferdinand Waititu yesterday said the county government has set aside 20 acres, where Rokosan company of Rokohumin organic mineral fertilisers can start building the plant.

“We will play our role giving the investor free land as an incentive to the investment,” he said.

Waititu spoke at the county headquarters in Kiambu town during the signing of the MoU. The signing was witnessed by Slovak Ambassador František Dlhopolček.

Ambassador Dlhopolček said the Slovakian government considers Kenya a strategic friendly partner and is country number one for development cooperation.

Murchr, yes commuters did try to use trains. See what one Johnstone Katuku experienced
Quote:
I tried to be clever and decided to use the train to Syokimau. It was so full that even turning required consensus from other passengers. Then the train broke down before Makadara and it took 3 hours to repair it. And all that time tulikuwa tu kajavelin (standing, holding on the metal bars). There's just no escape. Trump was probably right about us.
