I have an issue with their share structure. There are ordinary shares and there are preference shares.

In 2013 FY. The profit attributable to owners of the company was around 19M kshs.
While profit attributable to non controlling interst was around 60M kshs.

Is this a cause for concern.

And they have a net asset value per share that is close to the stock price.

Shame on you Shame on you 8 years is if the share does not pick but should it fo back to around. 8/- am definitely selling, I am a long term freak and I have made a killing before eg with safaricom my broker thought I was bonkers to sink 2.5m at 2.5/- then, just cashed in last week

Bought and sold... Bought at 15-17, completely cashed out at 37.

If it falls to 0.40 ,I'm buying in big! That way,I'll have an upside of 150% when it gets back to fair value of 1/= but then again that would be very close to ground zero

This firm own books are the one that show us that the NAV is less than 1/- and less than 0.8/- exclusive of goodwill per share. And would you also tell us the reason why i would pay 6 times the NAV for a firm whose bosses have parrallel companies engaged in the same business???? Conflict of interest?? What was the price before listing by the way?? What was the share structure before listing and how is it now??? Dumping???

This was a discussion held back in Jul 25 2013 when the price was struggling to regain the 20/- handle after slipping below it that week.

A yr later the counter is still taking it in the chin.

Unless profits overblow soon, sub 2 is likely and then we have another 1.xx trading stock like paka. Or two if MSC too slips sub 2/- (penny stock heaven).
