@vvs, you missed the operative word 'low risk' claims. I can't see KK falling in this bracket.

Well... I am sure some of the VAT is 'low risk' especially when the product is sold to:

IPPs - Not sure who/what but Total has this contract
KQ & other airlines - Under certain conditions
UNEP/UN - They enjoy life!
Embassies/Foreign Missions - Many get duty/tax-free breaks
Exempt entities - Some NGOs, etc get 'duty-free' breaks

Don't forget the EXPORT market where it is clear cut that KK exports to its subsidiaries OR to specific entities e.g. exports to UN in Sudan

The 'madharao' factor remains... lakini KK was honored as a significant taxpayer in 2008 by KRA...

There was a huge overhang of shares from a foreign seller at 9.90 & now it has cleared up... This is one of my favorite firms...

I got in at 90-100 before the split... and so I am hoping for a 20-30% rise when 1H 2010 results are released. The CEO was very optimistic about the performance of the firm...
