people didn't believe me when I said that we are going to have a difficult time ahead. some ODOMOs took that as a opportunity to gloat and point fingers... rubbing their hands in glee at the prospect of Kenya having a difficult time. why? coz they feel validated in shouting "choices have consequences".

what are the benefit do you see of having a president in the hague to 3 weeks seated in a room silent? why do we even have a president in the first place then if we can do without that particular office.

And some idiots want my President to attend a court where . . .

"SURPRISE REQUEST

At the same meeting, called the Assembly of State Parties, ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda sprung a surprise request to amend the rules to allow her to use statements of witnesses not in court.....

Ms Bensouda wants pre-recorded audio, video and written statements from witnesses unable to be physically present in court, be accepted as evidence. The move came just as Kenya awaited a plenary decision on an amendment seeking to free suspects from physical presence in court through introduction of video conferencing.
Sad Sad Sad

You and I know where that is coming from no? Witnesses have varnished into thin air

Indeed me and you know witnesses have varnished in thin air, infact others have been made to varnish never to be seen again, I find it very funny that some of you expect the prosecutor to support the accused, where on earth yawa?

Again, if witnesses have vanished, why can't the man be courageous enough like his deputy and head to the courts?...and you'll still be celebrating when he is let go and proven "not guilty" because some witnesses were made to disappear...

@Nonstop..Doesn't the picture of your DEAR President sitting in a kangaroo courtroom in a distant land, staring at the roof for hours daiRy when he should be busy serving his people make you sad?

Remember his debate at Brookhouse, he explicitly indicated full cooperation with the courts. With a week case, he'll embarass the ICC Kangaroo court and come back to lead us....ama? Then once he is a free man, he will set up a tribunal to look for the PEV mercenaries and lock them in...ama he doesn't want justice for the PEV victims?

Some call it "Ubarbie"! Some people (obviously they/spouses can be seen around town wearing silly "mzungu" weaves) because they do not know history and believe the white man made everything not to forget the flashing toilet, syphilis, burnt witches at the stake, traded slaves, randomly and as POLICY discriminates against blacks in their country, poorest people and thieves majuu is BLACKS, beaten by policeman BLACK, and many plagues caused by BLACK. Meanwhile enjoy Bob Marleys Africa Unite, Zimbabwe amongst other, NO WAY UK IS GOING TO HAGUE! Forget about these "barbie dolls" who dream of white husbands, white parents, pointi kids, white courts, white rule, and so on, our psychology was messed up kitambo. Ma barbie - ignore!

Masukuma you are a bit confused.

When people said that its a horrible idea to have a sitting president at the Hague...you said, yes we can

When people said that it would be embarassing to the country....you said, no it won't

Now you start saying that the people who told you so then are gloating now....Not really, just reminding you that you said

Yes we can

Don't have buyers remourse, its too early.

Now some people are telling you that he has too cooperate

Others have already started saying, we are sovereign, WE MUST WITHDRAW

Again we remind you, choice do have consequences.

You have started behaving like the 2 pack a day smoker who starts suing cigarette companies for not convicing him enough to stop smoking.

Choices do have consequences. Sometimes the choices aren't good.

If he goes to the Hague and sits there for 3 weeks in a row, there are consequences

If he doesn't go as the weekend rallies will indicate, there shall be consequences.

Life doesn't have buyers remourse, you have to suffer the consequences. Including reading and listening to people "gloating" as you say.

Kenya doesn't benefit from having a president seated at the Hague for 3 weeks.

In fact, Kenya doesn't benefit from having a president at the Hague even on skype.

Make matters worse, Kenya doesn't benefit if our president is considered an Al-bashir look alike.

The choice was made and the results aren't pleasant. However pan-africanist or as some are saying westernised Kenyans are, the consequences aren't something that we are going to run away from.

It's like leaving your house to go to Mombasa then making a wrong turn to go to Kisumu. On getting to Naivasha, you start arguing with your wife on who was wrong, who caused the problem, why didn't you tell me, you're a hyena waiting for my arm to fall etc.

Forgetting that someone made a choice. Another choice has to be made and pronto before gas kwishas. You now have to decide to go to Kisumu or turn around and head back to Mombasa.

Question then becomes, who's going to make that decision, the driver or the passenger.

Tafakari hayo.

How's that for an answer Masukuma? Answered all your 3 questions.

During the Presidential debates UK said that the ICC cases is a personal challenge. He should thus go to Hague and clear his name...
