He knew the girl, the reporter, his right hand man was with the girl when she was murdered, his other aide owned the car used to kidnap the girl... At the very least, he is the main suspect.

How to prove that in court 'beyond reasonable doubt'. Thats where the issue is. Court process ni ngumu. Unless there are phone comms linking him to the planning. I haven't even seen anything showing threats to the babe by the gafana.
