More and more slots will be created.
-Two Chairmen
-Two Party leaders
-Two deputy party leaders
etc

The Joho team feels cheated after forming a formidable team and compaigning countrywide then they will have to share the positions with the Mapambano team which has shown decimal performance.

Just wondering. Why are the stakes too high in these elections?

Its all about succeeding baba, as it stands there's some sort of vacuum. Akina Namwamba probably feel holding top party positions will put them in a better position to be the next big thing in the political arena kama KANU in 97'.....problem is that I don't think RAO is ready to let go just yet, ndio maana he wants to put some greenhorn to be the Sec General.

Boss don't yap too much in matters you don't understand, if Baba wanted Zani to become SG, Zani would become SG, the Luos whom he didn't want to contest for the SG dropped their bids, tafakari hayo!!!

Kama kawaida trying to protect Baba, I probably know nothing about ODM politics but fact remains RAO is not ready to let a mjuaji run the party for him especially with his eyes fixed on 2017. You can deny it all you want but I think he wanted unknown Zani as SG (probably as a compromise candidate instead of a Luo) thinking akina Ababu and Co would just accept and move on, sasa its all damage limitation. Hii mambo ya creating multiple posts is not really a new concept......RAO can't afford to lose Ababu he's been a very loyal servant.

Why are they being called "elections"?

Shouldn't they be called "erections"?

Just a thought. Just a thought.
