Exactly, I doubt some of his declarations. They are too good to be true. I think he is very good at selling his ideas.

He's is not wasting money like the other counties. How much do you think those 120 cars go for? Let's put @2m. That's a total of 240m. Have you heard Mks county approving a governor's house worth .5B or other excess wastage you hear from other counties like Kisumu? Other governors(and the president) believe more money more "development". They'll do anything to raise taxes but drag to refund in case of overpayment. My personal perspective on taxes was to try to be efficient with tax collection as they were before increasing. Since it went otherwise, we'll be more inefficient since everyone wants to eat. Pseudo-politics is wasting us.

The vehicles were actually bought for circa 1M each. They are not straight DT Dobie, hizi ni Jap mitumba modified kiasi.

I was just ballooning it the Kenyan style. However, I stick to my @2m since they had to be modified. An 8yr-old mtumba is at least 1m.
