Oh yes it is. Download and instal IDM in your comp and every time you play a video on your browser, an option to download it will appear.

Caution: After installing the idm, DO NOT update it.

Simple. Go to keepvid.com, paste the youtube url for your clip & download, it will list for you direct download links with different file extensions/sizes/resolutions. You need jvm. Suit yourself!
