Perhaps @Horton can tell us if the strike threats are valid? KQ claims the threats are power plays due to internal politicking by union members... I say if any KQ staff go on strike over this... just fire them... Let those who want to work, work... Greedy when others are fearful. I picked up some ex-div @45 and I am looking for more. A strike would be disruptive in the short run. However, subsequent layoffs would restore the balance of power back to management/shareholders and rationalise staff costs. Better to run the loss now in exchange for ENHANCED future profits.
