Approval despite GoK admitting we have oversupply of preferred energy sources (renewables)

Also countries are moving away from coal for obvious reasons...

Even Nokia has gone back to its roots aka 3310 model to mint money.
Coal is still a very good source of energy
China depends on it widely.

Nokia 3310 is a different scenario

With the sale of GM shares in GMEA to Isuzu, and also the sale of GOK shares in KWAL, there will be value uplift in Centum holdings in the said companies as their can bench mark prices to recent traded prices

In what way is this company not a Venture capitalist
The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

Is this the year to get 1 for 5 share bonus? June is coming and hope it will be more than the limited 1 bob offered last year.

Mr Realtreaty:

1. I dont know why you love bonuses soo much.....they dont add value its like me giving u 10 5bob coins for your 50/- note.....where is the difference?? Berkshire has neither given a dividend, bonus nor a stock split (with the exception of the B shares which was for a whole different reason)

2. According to the Centum FY 2013 annual report and I quote "Given that the share is trading at a material discount to intrinsic value the Board was of the view that increasing the supply of shares by issuing bonus shares would have the effect of possibly widening that gap. i am confident that we continue to execute on our strategy this gap shall close"

The above was part of the Chairman's statement and the belief that Bonus shares only increase supply and depress prices further

Good Luck Sir.

If it's foreign demand, it may be because of a plug in Value Investor Insight. It's an influential newsletter.

Larry Speidell, who manages a big US-based frontier hedge fund, talked about how Centum is one of his favorite stocks in an interview there last week.

Disclosure: I've got a beneficial interest in Centum shares.

Hey Ryan. Yeah read about Frontier and Centum. There is local demand too. They are supposed to announce results in June

We're in the same boat. I have a good exposure on this as well.

@Hoover which industries/ stocks do you think will beat the market in the next 5 years?
