Aly Khan Satchu today "KenolKobil traded 4th at the Securities Exchange. KenolKobil rallied 2.19% to close at 14.00 and traded 3.345m shares worth 46.828m. KenolKobil wobbled last week Thursday when it traded Limit down for most of the Session. KenolKobil is a Target of Trafigura's Puma Energy, though a Standard Newspapers report last week seemed to indicate that Puma Energy were all set to walk away. However, this morning the Guardian Newspaper in London was reporting that Trafigura was weighing up a £3bn London Stock Exchange flotation of Puma Energy. Puma's chief executive, Pierre Eladari, was reported as saying the company was considering a flotation. "It's something we are prepared to do," he told the Sunday Times. "We are almost finished in terms of corporate structuring to be able to do it." The Guardian was speculating that ''It is thought the group would use the money to fuel a spending spree.'' Eladari is reported saying that could increase to $700m next year if he succeeds in buying the companies he is circling. Now connecting some Dots, leads me to the conclusion that one of the Companies Eladari is circling is KenolKobil. Therefore, I would be very reluctant to offload KenolKobil until the Formal Offer is disclosed. A While Back I put out a Minimum Price Objective of 17.68 which I felt was very conservative. Thats a 26.28% Uplift versus the Current Price and My Bias is for a higher Price. If I was running a Merger Arbitrage Book, I would be mopping everything up below 15.00 which someone might well have been doing today."

Trafigura weighs up £3bn London Stock Exchange flotation http://www.guardian.co.u...tock-exchange-flotation
And THANK YOU to The Sub-Standard for the timely article! Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Couple the puma london floatation with the KE hydrocarbons play and you can see why this deal is unlikely to be cancelled. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself
