This are personal business decisions that are guided by many factors key among them being economic.I doubt if many of us think in terms of supporting goverment when we walk into KCB.It could be due to convinience or the Manager of your branch is your friend or rela or you have been forced to open there because your by your employer.
Kalonzo flew Emirates coz its cheaper than KQ.Every coin counts.
Going through that letter I see nothing wrong with it.
BTW many are the times I flew with the late Saitoti to Msa and he would use the same lounge and exit with us on the same door.Difference would be that his motorcade would be waiting just next to the exit door while we would walk some distance to the parking area.
A peer is a close CORD supporter, a fact that is well known in our community. This has not in any way affected our cordial relationship.
Until Saturday.
The two of us were on a queue at a local branch of a Government majority shareholder bank. The corporate section of the bank did not have patrons and thus the two tellers were idle.
The floor manager usually instructs the Security Guard to direct a few patrons to move from the regular queue and transact their business at the corporate section.
The Guard then tapped a few patrons behind me, tapped me, skipped my friend, and tapped a few more patrons ahead of me to proceed the corporate section.
I assumed my friend was behind me when I proceeded to the corporate section. After being served, I took a seat to wait for my friend only to notice he was not on the queue with me.
Later that evening, he informed me what had transpired. The airport issue is confusing ordinary employees for they do not know how to treat Cordeshans any more.
Fear of being victimized for offering extra service seems to pervade Government offices. He gave me several examples of such treatment at the post office, the works department, the district hospital, and so forth.
My worry is that he noticed this subtle treatment only after the Airport saga blew up. That is my worry.
