ION Duty free shops hazikuchomeka. those r speculations.

So we still have duty free shops remaining? Who is your source of bulletin?
d'oh! d'oh!

@Impunity, wacha kuchezea watu, you know very well where the duty free shops are/used to be and where the arrivals is...

So what part exactly burned down? If it's the immigration area, then I would not expect the duty free shops to have burnt down neither the vip lounges. Probably baggage area. Let's see what the investigations will reveal a simple baggage could have caused this.

This clearly shows we are not prepared to handle any disasters.

Duty free shops are not there, so nothing to burn there but empty spaces.

The fire started near the immigration area and quickly spread International arrival building!

CS Eng Kamau is a real serious guy. He seems to have grabbed his jacket immediately he got the news and left for the Airport. Other chaps seems to have taken time to dress, exercise and grab their ipads. Kudos Eng Kamau.

Strategic planning and risk management: Maybe, we need a second international airport in Nairobi or somewhere close to Nairobi. Again, maybe, Nairobi County needs at least three firefighting helicopters.

When there was talk about having an airport in Konza, Wazuans were here up in arms to prove that Konza is very near to Nrb bla bla...see the inconvinienced caused now...people are flying to Msa so that they can re-route to Nrb kesho.

Still defending JKIA verses Oga International airport

I'm just wondering how this was possible while the fire raged for more than 4hrs....you get my drift now??

Everyone including those who are supposed to fight the fire just watched. If this was a plane...no one would have been rescued

I think majority know the difference, what they guy is implying here is that when KAA is affected like this, KQ is definitely affected..it might have a greater impact than when KQ is affected, KAA might not be as affected...
