The Sonkoigathe alliance will almost certainly win but am not sure if it will stand the test in the long run. Mr Igathe could go down in history as the first deputy governor to resign after just a year or so. Truth forever on the scaffold Wrong forever on the throne (James Russell Rowell)

Jubilants now have a person to take any and all credit for the good stuff that may happen in Nairobi including an unlikely victory while Sonko will take responsibility for the expected lunacy and mayhem that we can expect with his unlikely governorship. The outgoing governor set the bar soooo low, even an idiot will do better. BBI will solve it :)

When supposed well educated and exposed Kenyans on this forum say an ex-convict suspected of drug dealing is a great choice for Nairobi governor, you know we have hit rock bottom. And he confessed that he did a prison break at Shimo la Tewa prison. The only good thing is that i am in Trump land and thus won't have to suffer the mess and indignity of being ruled by that thug sonko in nairobi. Wait till you are deported (God forbid) by that Orange toad then you land in a messed up Nairobi.

Running water, parking, traffic jam, healthcare, transportation, housing, jobs. If Sonko has managed to run his Sonko rescue successfully with limited resources, he will be successful with the billions allocated to the county and all the revenues. Kidero amefanya chochote with all his PHDs??? i.am.back!!!!

As a voter, prepare to receive your insult on 9th August when he inevitably loses miserably. He might be good for Jeff Koinange's ratings but it's obvious that nobody can exist around such a person hata baba alishindwa. BBI will solve it :)

The grand vision for a slum-city 1.He promised that he would abolish the requirement for mama mbogas, hawkers, and other small traders to acquire business permits. 2. He further said he would reduce land rates and eliminate any fee paid by the traders who operate from shades owned by City Hall. 3. City Hall would construct modern shades for small-scale traders and would not charge them a penny to use, unlike the current system where they are required to pay what is referred to us ‘goodwill’ that he termed steep. 4.Sonko has put together a team of technocratics and advisers who include lawyers, businessmen, and academics to compile his blue print, which he says will be launched soon.My manifesto is being worked on and we will outline the methods and the road map to transform Nairobi. 5. I only suggested that we shall devise alternate routes that may see some of the matatus turn at Uhuru Park and avoid entering the CBD. We have to design new routes to facilitate free flow of transport in the city and its environs. 6. We have a proposal on how to address the issue of hawkers verses shop owners. We use the Bangkok, Thailand model where we close specific streets and allow hawkers to sell their wares. This will be done on specific times say from 6pm to midnight and weekends. This will be done in consultation with the other traders and road users. 7. he will drill boreholes in all estates and start an ambitious slum upgrading programme in which his administration will construct low-cost houses. This is our only hope. That the supreme court will put an end to the madness once and for all. There is no place for sonko, Joho, kabogo, wakahare, boss sholei, Oscar sudi in leadership. It will be PK vs Kidero.
