This discussion is on whether Ghaddafi deserved it or not.. and from what you're saying above, then he did... period. If you're attacked by thugs and the thugs are killed via mob justice conducted by a group of no-good layabouts, does it mean then that the thug is a hero... I promise you that if the Guatemalans carry out a "Ghaddafi" on Sarkozy for what his people did, I will celebrate with them just as I celebrate with the Libyans today...
