@hisah,Every Tom,Dick and Harry intends to plunge in big tyme after the elections. The bull has been hyped by the media houses and wanjiku is aware.Fear is elections.
If the elections are smooth, there will be a stampede!

At least thats what we think/expect. Events havent been going as expected in the recent past. could we be in for another surprise after peaceful elections?

And what's all this attachment with inflation anyway. China is in a similar spot working hard to stem it yet its economy is still growing @9% quarter-on-quarter. The only difference between Kenya (EAC) & China is scale but we are both DEVELOPING economies. I will be the last person on Wazua to bet against the resilience & un-paralled work ethic of the Kenyan people.

You will see what inflation will do to KCB's earningssmile bdw I still expect an earnings downgrade maybe to 15-30%

I see..and ur Equity Bank operates on Mars? Right, right...atleast KCB is fully EAC..there is nothing for us on Mars Sad

@Cde I have done my research...lets wait for 1H and 3Q numbers & then u will see those analysts at RenCap were smoking cheap weed...for starters whats the inflation in TZ, UG and RW? Eqty Bank is a Monster...on a straight line multiply EB's 2.9B 1Q from fees & commissions by 4 quaters & you will see.

Miss those buying opportunities...

The bull is charging so hard that investors, speculators and traders are confounded to silence.

@hisah. The events of the last 2 years may make us rethink elections years in the future. most investors knew late 2011 was time to buy but the election brought doubt then. and now its pandemonium

I'd hate to be in cash in such a rally. Good opportunity to make at least 20 percent net...

You continue laughing at me. I sold Member last year preparing cash for dec/jan entry, and all am getting are closed doors.

Am even contemplating doing a ka-plot (40 by 80) with this cash!

I do not trust this company... They are everywhere and keep changing their strategies, acquiring and disposing left right and centre. Reminds me of some companies described in "intelligent investor" by Ben Graham, companies that were involved in flashy takeovers and restructuring and ended up bust.
