Hi Guys,

Hello Abhishek, what a name!

Why don't you educate us more about India on:
1. What does the red dot on India women's forehead mean? Looks so natural, are they born with it?
2. How does elephant transportation help decongested traffic in your country? Did you ride one to work/school today? Maybe you could export a few elephants to solve our own traffic problems here!
3. I saw on TV that people are sooooo many there. Was that picture for real? How does a country manage to have so many people.... FYI, here we are paying woman from Nyeri and Murang'a counties to get babies!

Back to your questions

What is the current political scenario in Kenya?
Right now we are busy busting those idiots who stole/stealing from us.... and we are also have lots of drugs if you might be interested.

Who are the presidential candidates for the 2012 elections?
Martha Karua

Who are the popular politicians in the country?Imanyala -(dont joke with this one), Kibaki, Odinga, Ruto, Karua and a few others.

What does a common man want in Kenya? Lots of money - you should see how many get-rich-quick gambles are running on TV and is he getting it? See another thread on the analysis of this

Yours truly,
Radio

@Radio: Thank you for your feedback. Really appreciate it. I ve read quite a bit about Martha Karua and her "Iron Lady" status. Does she stand a chance in the 2012 elections? What are her strengths & weaknesses?

Coming to India:
1. No Indian women are not born with it. It is a part of the Hindu culture where women apply a "bindi" on their forehead.
2. We do not use elephants for decongestion of traffic in India. Elephants are used only in the wild and in zoo parks apart from wildlife parks, etc. We dont use them to ride to work and office. They are found in high numbers at religious places as the Hindu religion & culture gives a lot of significance to them.
3. Yeah we are a hugely populous country, have the second largest population in the world. We also have the highest number of religious divides and caste divisions..But in all we are a country with - Unity in Diversity!! and we ve got used to this lifestyle of living with loads of people around us. :)

Hope this works.

Cheers,
Abhishek

@poundfoolish: no idea what you are talking about!!

secondly, if raila or uhuru or ruto or kolanzo or even martha was interested in public opinion, they would have actually done some good for the nation instead of dividing people on the basis of tribe and gobbling up humongous amounts of money through corruption (except for martha who hasnt been accused of corruption as yet). and your politicians are too busy plotting their moves and donot have time to find what the public actually thinks.
anyways, you are entitled to an opinion & i respect that. i opine differently

@youngeconomst: if you believe the guy, i cant do anything about it. thanks for the reply anyways!
