I suggest you put 70% in Co-op. I have watched this share since the IPO days and it does not disappoint. IN June it was @12.75 and last week it hit 18.75. That is 6.00 more. 2mili would give u 156,000 shares. X 6 you would have made about 900,000.00 in 4 months.

The reason is for this is that the CEO owns about 2% of the bank and is hell bent to ensure that the value of his shares goes up every month. He is now worth about 2b. and wants to quite next year with 5b.

@whyno how sure are you co-op will pull this one off again... i'm pretty sure the share will fall if results don't impress that much and the dividend is not what people expect... I hold the same opinion for equity bank because these are not currently fundamentally priced

KCB
Williamson, kakuzi or kapchorua....

Trust me these will make you money in 2011...

Williamson and Kapchorua report half year by end of Nov.They will be good. The directors promised not to have a repeat of the dividend debacle at the AGM.

Kenya Re right time to buy. Capitalise on the under-valuation due to current management problems. Fundamentals don't seem to have been affected much...

Half year didn't realise much growth. Plus what about the expiry of the compulsory cession fees?

@y i think they are expanding into the rest of africa and the middle east. This will compensate for the lost compulsory cessation
