@Jakogelo, Why don't you publish that list of channels here? or is eeeh forbidden?

Another Question, if one has to use Aerial to receive these channels, doesn't this affect the quality of picture depending on locality? d'oh!

@k22
The digital signals are better than analogue signals although they are at times affected by buildings, trees etc but the advantage is that because the transmission is from one point once you get the signal then all the channels are super clear and when there is no signal nothing comes on screen!

hi tupac? currently it covers nairobi but as time goes by it will cover the whole country since KBC is in the process of intalling its digital hardwares within the country before 2012. Smart tv has its own decorder called the smart tv, its digitaly inbuilt thus tarnsmissions are digital, it costs 7500 payable in cash or cheque, the channels on offer in the residendial package called the SMART ZONE include: BBC World, Setanta Africa, ASPN (africa sports network), Silver, Star, Hi Nolly, Fox entertainement and Showtime going for 990 p.m but there will be a three month offer (free watching) when subscription starts, all local channels are free to air and can be watched even if your account is suspended, am ben and my number is 0724378253 or mail benonyach@gmail.com to get more details. thanks and be blessed

maan. how many decoders is one supposed to have? i am having a star decoder with a slot for a subscriber card. will this work with your new station?

for coverage, just tell me the name of the place then i may check with the map already released for digital coverage in Kenya and i'll get back to you. the smart tv decoder only uses its smart tv card which will not access other decoders.

this so unlike western companies, esp engaged in communication - a website, which is much easier to have in place has no info, yet youve gone so far with the brick and motar of the product(already several of their programs are in air e.g bbc, sometimes discovery, cartoons etc. currently i watch them free, as i think they are testing.

Thought this thing should be mass marketed but the sellers/agents seems to be a bit secretive, only wanting to deal one/on one. Maybe pricing is variable?

if u have been following our chats, then for sure there isn't a reason to feel some info is left out, ranging from pricing, coverage and channels. once the website is up it will prove me right. the smart tv decorder cost 5,000.00 the monthly subscription is 990.00 for the pay channels which are 10 by now, more pay channels are being sourced but the monthly pricing won't change. the free to air channels are many all locals inclusive, these you e view without restrictions. thanks and be blessed.
