Thanks Money Market Unit Trust Funds....and most have higher rates that the over-glorified T-Bills Entry, Exit, Management fees? Tax? Most will accept 5k to start. Some even 2k. Withdrawal is on demand. Just allow 3 days for EFT to be effected - most transfer funds to your bank account in a matter of hours! You can withdraw as much as you wish... some have minimum balances of about 2k - 5k. Some don't - I have one with 900bob! I don't know people keep glorifying T-Bills and Fixed deposits. Money Market Unit Trust Funds have been out-performing them every month for the last five years! Oh, and BTW, you don't have to go to them to open the account; you just call them to your office and they come running with all the forms!

Also collected upfront [just like in the case of FXD & T-Bills]. Thus what you see in your monthly statement is the net - yote ni pesa yako! The well-managed funds are earning around 9% monthly after tax and fees. Compounded is about 9.4% The only thing better is M-Akiba.....if only CBK can do better publicity!

So the annualised return is 108% My bad: I meant to write 9% pa every month..... when you compound 9%pa on monthly basis for one year, you get 9.4% in a year. Sorry for the confusion.
