God saw it fit every man has a conscience and St. Thomas Aquinas said conscience is the voice of God. So it's possible to be very God fearing and still vote YES; just as Jesus asked people of Judeah to pay taxes to Ceaser while still believing in God.

What is the big deal Now the Katiba has passed..briefly lets look what the Church has done (I m Proud of the Church steadness in the whole process)
1)The Church saw errors which were contrary to the word of God (bible) in the Katiba......
2)The Church choose to highlight the issue with the gova (of which as per everyone expections church was supposed to be quite)but chooses to highlights the flaws to Gova and Kenyans the .......
3)Gova ignores the issues.......
4)Church tells people to vote against the Katiba.....
5)Quarter maybe agrees with the church....
6)The laws passes as kenyans really likes to listen to their conscience....
7)Life Goes on kenyans continue to worship others drop out of churches (christian worship will be harder),medical officers continue to kill the unborn when mothers life is in 'danger' ....
8)Consequences comes economically,spiritually,socially,morals etc to be felt either (good-my prayers) or (bad) of which it will be seeing by everyone maybe tomorrow,next year,next decade or next century.

@Pastor M, few more corrections if you will; as per your points:

1) Some would argue nothing was contrary to the word of God (Kadhis court) except possible loopholes (on abortion). Some would say, up to the point of assisting and committing a frivolous abortion, nothing is contra yet.

3) Church documents according to Njoki Ndungu contained a list of 27 requests for insertion into Katiba. Everything was included in the draft, in the form requested, save for Kahdhi's courts and exceptions on abortion.

8)Your motives seem sincere; not possible to speak for motives of all other Yes/No proponents for that matter - only God can judge the hearts of men.

Am glad there was strong opposition to the Proposed Constitution. We were therefore able to debate the problematic issues in the PC rather than simply accept a document handed down by the political class. The debates are not over and the points put across will come in handy in the process of crafting and enacting the myriad implementation laws that the PC envisages.
