Hi,

Please be careful of who you are getting advice from, anyone who gives stock picking advice must be registered with the capital markets authority (CMA).

So those who are responding to the posting and are not registered as investment advisers are doing something illegal and could be charged.

Like in the biblical parable of the master and his three servants, the 3rd one was told that instead of burying his talent he should have at least have given it to the money lenders for a fixed interest return.

If you unwilling to exert yourself to learn about equity trading or investing then just put your money in a mutual fund or fixed deposit account

there was a time we discussed stocks here without fear of being illegal...Mr Robert plz dont take away our freedom of speech...

robert, are you a registered pastor? If not, then don't quote any parables. It is illegal. Cardinal John Njue and Canon Peter Karanja are watching. Matter of fact, Jesus is watching

I advise you try to get some pennystocks. This are the type of kenya re, kcb, equity, keno kobil. At this point try to decisit from trading. Build your portfolio for a year before you start trading

Alternatively, you may want to sparead your picks depending on how much you are investing. If you would to put 100K in each security, then I propose you look at commerciaL, banks and indistrial. Limit yourself to pennystocks

@rymo forget about making quick cash at the nse, coz thats what you are asking. You only need to know one phrase 'margin of safety' google it, read, read read. Then buy kcb, keep it for 3 years, sell it in 2014 and go for a holiday.
