have stopped complaining....my focus is changing the current position where the president single handedly appoints cabinet ministers regardless of their performance.....I will vote yes on 4 august instead of complaining ....If kibaki re-appoints makwere he will be legally doing what the current BAD constitution allows him to do ....
so do not blame him....

Cabinet
152. (1) The Cabinet consists of—
(a) the President;
(b) the Deputy President;
(c) the Attorney-General; and
(d) not fewer than fourteen and not more than twenty-two Cabinet
Secretaries.
(2) The President shall nominate and, with the approval of the NationalAssembly, appoint Cabinet Secretaries.
(3) A Cabinet Secretary shall not be a Member of Parliament.

who says the Draft is Bad....then just continue complaining ....
I would like to hear the voices of brewer , vuluku, Seeders, sokotele et al on this ....them that are telling us to say 'No' because of none issues....

I cant blame the Matuga people, they made their choice, just Baks will not re-appoint him a minister!!!!!

Of-course he'll get his ministerial seat back that's why Kimunya is an acting Transport minister. As far as I can remember, his car flag never went down anyway.
You also need to realise that Makuwere is strategic for PNU (coast) and re-capturing the seat is a major boost for them.

BBI will solve it

......some of the proponents of the new constitution are prophesying miracles come 5th August with a new constitution in place.
...in Uganda,the same vetting applies for a minister and the presidents wife is a minister !!!!
....I have long been on the No side but have since converted myself to YES ; but only to give the document and the nation a chance NOT to expect PAUL to improve my bottom line!

... Mudavadi/peter kenneth et al the last few days are a perfect example...."hii katiba mukipitisha ,wabunge wajao hawawezi kuongeza mishahara yao".
....in my opinion ,sometimes its better to shut up if you have nothing to say,but again,the politicians mouth shuts up only when its full!

Is she qualified? Does the constitution bar her from such an office? [Ethics vs laws] Is their parliament independent?

Isn't that a fact? Or are you saying it is true but too trivial to be mentioned? I have no problem with trivialities - just lies!!!

zipapa!! the people have spoken. what was the alternative? ODM? i don't think so. ODM is a passing cloud. Kibs should move the guy to something less critial ministry. i think he is popular with his people not kenyans. I salute the people of Matuga for going against the grain.

Karibu masukuma....I fully agree with you on this one ....the people of Matuga have overwhelmingly spoken....though this may not be in resonance with the rest of kenyans....its their choice ....I fully respect it ....

@Fundaah,

Save yourself some HeartAche. Considering Mwakwere did his Postgraduate Thessis on 'Urban Transport' or something close to that, doesn't he qualify to be Minister for errr..... On merit? This 'Vote YES so that we have qulified bla bla in office is all hogwash'

And did consider,

Amos Wako is a constitutional lawyer...even with all the 'nolle prosequi' stuff....
