I dont think this project is for people to buy and plant trees. It is a residential project and there will be controlled development and rules surrounding what one can put up.

However, I'm sure an Amiran greenhouse would do quite well while buyers wait for development to begin. I understand there are several boreholes in the area so water would not be an issue until Mhasibu dig their own (which I was told is part of the project).

They have already sold 500 plots, and have 800 left. Thats a huge uptake given the short period of time they have been selling.

@groupielove Mhasibu have been selling plots in Runda, Ruiru AND Juja. The Ruiru ones were formally owned by Stanley Githunguri and most, if not all have already been sold.

Ruby, can you give us some details about the Ruiru and Runda projects? Were they successful?

@ Kwanini, who would be the holder of the original title deed? Can someone clarify the by-pass near/around this parcel of land?

I understand it is like 400m away from the new bypass that connects Thika to Mombasa road through Ruai and Kangundo. That bypass is already tarmaced from Mombasa Road to Ruiru.

These plots are gold, just watch!

visited the site today and didnt like the procedure!where in kenya does one buy land without conducting a search first??they said they couldnt avail the info needed for a search!they said trust is what mattersLaughing out loudly again they say is not mhasibu selling per se,its a housing company, which thay didnt bother to let us know its name!
Im surprised to hear the original title is under Stanley Githunguri while i was told it was under a Mr.Kigwe.
There was no map to show the layout, might be bypass land for all we know!
i smell a rat!

This plot is always advertised in the Daily nation all thursdays.Today they are indicating that 60% of the plot has been sold off.I think it is a fair deal if at all it is genuine. They say the housing company is Mhasibu housing co. which is fully owned by Mhasibu sacco. I still feel the fact tht you can't have a tree shade in your compound and the fact that there is a very poor drainage system is a minus. The price and the fact that the bypass is very close, together with availability of construction materials is a major plus

I agree with @Sceptic; I also visited the site which is about 11KM from Thika Hway. In my opinion, the price is on the higher side considering that the title deeds will not come out soon, the road maps are not there and the land not yet subdivided. Not a very fair deal. This is my opinion anyway

I am a Mhasibu sacco member

The plots are being sold by the Mhasibu housing company. One thing I know of Mhasibu people is that they are very unlikely to enter into conning league

Being an accountant's society. They maintain a very high degree of integrity.Due to the strict professional ethics of the ICPAK.

The title transfer will definitely be made to the society. They have been selling plots in a similar way including some in Runda and no complains from members so far.In the unlikely event that something goes wrong,I know that they would have no problem making a refund of cash paid.

And as to the price .Cheap is expensive. You may get a lower price but get conned.

Better go for the genuine people and pay more.

The land is adjacent to a proposed JKUAT campus. For those patient enough , they are likely to reap bigtime.
