i'm giving D&B half a year to get back their online trading

@Guru..no idea.. but it sucks. anyway. Standard Investment bank is were i've ended up.
I don't care much for brokers though..just need there services to do my thing..n i don't expect much. after all, for all there hustle i do pay transaction fee which apparently they share with cma, cdcs n nse.
maybe the 5k is a new way of getting more from the investors.. its just wrong.

I am trade with Genghis Capital.My 1st account was with D&B but after the Safaricom I.P.O things have really changed and i was frustated and moved on.Their unrealibility especially with payments was an issue and online trading platform.I moved on never looked back.Things are good here.

I have been with D&B for a very loooong time now. They r not PERFECT but I find them very ok.I am also outside Kenya. Have been sending my orders thru mail and they r all been executed accordingly. Only last Friday I got one done!

Can u tell us how u place ur orders?

This is how I do it.
1.send mail to shares@dyerandblair.com
2.State clearly in my mail that am outside the country and can not report to their office to place orders.
3.state clearly my order (quoting the exact prices I want)and the period the orders should last for.
4.finish my mail with my name account #, csd acnt#, Nomura accont number and my contacts.

Believe me it never takes more than a week for the order to be done.

mimi apana fanya kazi kwao. I know how it feels when u r outside and can't control ur money. This is just a help just try it might work.
I know time is important when executing orders BUT since u have clearly stated ur prices I dont see u loosing anything even if the order is executed a day or two latter.

D&B if full of bull crap, as most company believe the 'customer is the king' they seem to think otherwise. It's almost a year since the online thing went kaput but they don't care! As soon as I am back in kenya i'll be moving out too.For those whose e-mail orders go through waht is the secret?????????
