Hi Intrepid.I once opened a small business, hired a dude who gave me the confidence that he was experienced enough in the business.I motivated the guy the best way i knew and promised him more incentives if he got the biz going and growing, like a 5% shareholding by Q2 ,if he developed a great road map for the business, run it profitably and make it grow.I have a day job that's a highly demanding job..so i wasnt daily involved in the operations and running.I tell you i burnt my fingers miserably. After 6 months there was no business to talk about. And during that time i had put in some considerable amounts of money. In brief, what we are saying is that you must be there yourself.Nobody will ever run and grow a business for you.Get your hands dirty dude. And the worst offenders are the close buddies you trust to run the biz...It was a viable business, but the people you put there will sure pull it down, if you aint there.

Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value. –Albert Einstein.
