But someone should have adviced the owner that you don't dare government in public because you now force them to act to prove a point while there could have been some rational thinking behind curtains. I knew it was going down as soon as he dared the government to try.

But the owner of this pub, why didn't he move the furniture? He just piled them in a corner now they are just falling aimlessly.

I still think it's idiotic to destroy capital as opposed to seizing it!

yeah... roll your eyes all you want but I still haven't found a good reason for GOK not to SEIZE the property in question.

Seizing it sets a bad example. It's like seizing ivory. Plus the guy will keep hope alive of repossession in future under a different government. Somethings are best destroyed, sends a greater warning and strong authoritative political statement.

But I still think if the guy had not dared the government disrespectfully in public to attempt to destroy, they would have come up with something.
