Love is a relationship that conduces truth in the party(parties involved). Truth being, the resolution of cognitive-emotional tension within a person and across persons.

Desire is a motive force for an object.

I think love is an unselfish emotion towards. Not something explainable or scientific. Eg. you may love your children and not their mother or father.

Love is equal to all. Enemies and friends alike.

Many will say that love is inexplicable but that's not true. It is knowable, it is testable...
