Maybe it came too soon after we mourned a young soul in Janet Kanini Ikua.

Also at his age it is more of an expected eventiality than a shocker more so that he was ailing. We celebrate his life.

RIP Mwiraria.

I know our cultures do not allow us to say anything negative but I honestly felt sorry for him. I feel like he died a disgraced man. Kenyan politics take you in and give you a high they spits you out like garbage. Sorry.

He was a good honest man. Politics, or rather the Anglo-leasing documents did him in. He literary cleaned up public procurement which had gone to the dogs. May he rest in peace.

I do agree. I don't know why we Kenyans dwell so much on negativity and forget the positives.

This guy transformed the public finance system and economy ata kama alikula 'kidogo'.

The most important thing for a man is the legacy he leaves or will leave behind. You could do everything in this life but you will be judged by the legacy you leave behind. I so wish our justice system worked because it would have exonerated him, but instead, the lack of a working justice system left a cloud hanging over his head forever.

RIP Hon. Mwiraria, the man who helped make Kibaki's vision of Kenya come true.

BBI will solve it
