In order for Ruto to be president in 2022 he will need Kikuyu Nation to vote for him a very unlikely scenario unless a Kyuk is the running mate. Ruto choosing Kenneth as the VP will likely to push the country over the edge because.

1. Kalenjin and Kikuyu would have rule the country since independent and another likely 20 years will alienate the other tribes

2. By 2022, Kenyan will already be tired of UhuruRuto, high inflations as Chinese loan start kicking in etc. The thought of extending UhuruRuto term will kill Kenyans

3. Ruto is way worst that Uhuru

An Uhuru endorsement of "Ruto tosha" is enough to whip Mt. Kenya voters into line no matter who the running mate will be. Besides Ruto has become very popular huko milimani of late. Love him or hate him, Ruto is a politician per excellence

Jokes aside, since 1992 who have they voted for that is not one of their own?

So? Kwani kyuks have a collective brain. Since 92 we have had STRONG candidates. Kibaki, Matiba and Uhuru.

There is still the small matter of 2017 to be dealt with.

Many think it is a foregone conclusion but it could turn out be the Waterloo. People may not turn out to vote because Uhuru has 'already' won.

Also the voter apathy. The mountaneers who woke up very early to vote for Uhuruto havent seen any benefits from them and therefore no need to wake up and vote for them again.Especially if risasi will not be in the ballot.

Peter Kenneth is an overrated politician supported by the middle class who do not vote during party nominations. If goes for the Nairobi seat that's the end of him Going into 2022 GEMA has no heir to Uhuru which could play into ruto advantage as it will give him leeway to get a running mate from other regions. My money will be on Gideon mungaro of kilifi

I really wonder where this thought of Kikuyus must vote for Ruto for him to be president. If whoever Kikuyus votes for had to be president, Matiba would have probably been president; Kibaki would have been president earlier.

I actually think the best thing Kikuyus should do would be not have anyone near the top...After all, having them there has only helped to alienate them from the 'rest' without any 'tangible' or significant benefit beyond the rest.

This thing is very simple, currently every body in presumed kiuk dominated area is either in JP or out because of UMK. That will not happen in 2022 for Ruto. Ni hayo tu!!!

True that. Hawesmake. He's a 'nice guy' not a politician. I hope he's using his party to avoid embarrassment in the JAP nominations.

BBI will solve it

Maybe he is just looking for a CS post. Which other better way than just showing that you are supporting Muthamaki
