Where did you learn your economics, there are no two prices for the same thing, Saudis produce cheap but still sell at the world market prices. So as long our break even point is equivalent or below the world market prices, we are in business.

We can also still be in business if we tax imports but don't tax local production to match our local production costs to world prices, were they to be higher.

I know a few kiuk friends who have gone bought the normal tankers used to ferry refined fuel in anticipation to transport the crude...how sad!
You need special tankers to ferry crude, and its not cheap.
