Mediocrity is literally doing nothing except what is standard. having only an average degree of quality, skills etc.; no better than standard. It's not failure. It's actually the opposite - Mediocre people don't fail - they rinse and repeat what has always worked. it's being average. keeping your head down... doing what you did 30 years ago because it works. <-- that is what is known as mediocrity. listen to all those people who use that term... their english is likely to be mediocre!

I guess it depends on how fast the IEBC leaves office. They can still show you middle fingers and not leave office if you don't grease their palms to their liking. Then when the offices are vacant will the process of replacing them shall start. if they want to go the legal way as per the IEBC act. If you want to alter the composition - the IEBC act has to change <-- a legal process. Has anyone looked at the process of formulating the commission as set out in the IEBC act? it was written when there was a PM. This may drag out!

…And the kind of arguments before the select commission, e.g. mode of presidential election results announcement, minor logistic details, whether new voter registration is needed, etc, is exactly what the new commissioners should grapple with. What work will they do once in office then if politicians have to micro manage every detail? Or is this committee also making laws through back door?
